It is a plant of the Labiatae family. It is a herbaceous annual that can reach 2 meters height. The leaves are 4 cm to 8 cm long and 3 cm to 5 cm wide, flowers are hermaphrodite and purple. It blooms between April and May and is grown in Mexico, Bolivia and Argentina.

Chia plant needs a subtropical climate. The seed is about 2 mm long and 1.5 mm wide. It is oval, glossy, colored or white grayish-brown. We recommend consuming a daily tablespoon (3 grams).Chia oil is the richest plant source of Omega*3 in the world.

Chia can be used through its seed oil, organically grown, cold pressed and without refining process. Because of its high content of Omega*3 it would be sufficient to eat a few grams of oil (a teaspoon) in oil, to cover the daily needs of linolenic acid.

Because of the low ratio of Omega*6 in their composition, the mixture with sunflower oil allows a balanced supplement of AGE, with the ideal relationship between omega 6 and 3 from 4 to 1. Edible oils are cold and without any process of cooking to preserve its delicate nutritional principles.
