Contour GPS Contour GPS Camera   This is the latest in the Contour HD Range of high definition wearable cameras. The ContourHD GPS has all the same great features as the previous ContourHD ***0p camera but with some amazing new upgrades and features.     The most important new feature on this camera is the addition of the GPS receiver for true video mapping. What does this mean  It means that when you play your video back on your computer or when you upload your video to the Contour Community you will see your exact position overlaid on to Google Earth as you recorded the video.
Using the new Contour GPS really could not be easier. Simply slot in the rechargeable battery and insert your memory card, slide the switch on top forwards to start recording. NOW! You can take still photos with the Contour GPS at a huge ***2 x ***4 resolution you could argue not needing to take a stills camera with you.
You still get the same great mounts as before plus an extra disk mount. The battery will give at least 2.5 hours record time before it needs to be recharged. Contour GPS is as light as ever at just 5.2 ounces you will hardly know it is on your head. Still equipped with twin lasers for aiming and positioning your camera. The Allumium body is tough and water resistant and now had a locking door to keep the battery and the memory card safe and sound even in the toughest of conditions.     It was recently announced that Contour will soon release a smart phone APP for both Apple and Android phones. This will allow you to preview what the camera is seeing to aid set up and also for changing the settings without having to plug the camera in to a computer
