DENTEX TOTAL-ETCHING ADHESIVE

GENERAL INFORMATION
Dentex Total-Etchingl Adhesive (DTA) is 5th generation universal adhesive. DTA is a single bottle adhesive consisted of methyl methacrylate monomers and solvent. It demonstrates a great adhesion to dentin and enamel. It is easy to use adhesive with multifunctions.

PACKAGES: 1 Bottle (3.0 ml x1 and 5.0 ml x1 bottle)

COMPOSITION: BisGMA, photoinitiator, stablizer, acetone and Other additives

APPEARANCE: Light yellow viscous liquid

FUNCTION:
Due to s unique chemical composition, and its minimal and uniform film thickness, this system could be applied to direct and indirect restoratives. Its good flowability, great wettability and permeability significantly improve bonding strength. In clinic practice, this adhesive will be applied on dentin or enamel surface following a light cure after evaporating solvent.

INSTRUCTIONS
(1)Preparation: isolate and prepare tooth. Cleaning: rinse the preparation with water.
(2)Etching: Etch enamel and dentin using an etchant, such as Dentex *7% Phosphoric Acid Etchant for *5 seconds. Rinse thoroughly.
(3)Drying: gently air dry until there is not visible water. Do not allow enamel or dentin to dry for an excessive period of time.
(4)Applying Dentex Total-Etching Adhesive (DTA): dispense **2 drops of DTA into a mixing well, apply enough DTA to the entire preparation with a little brush until a shiny surface is achieved and then wait for *0 seconds (DTA should not be applied too much). Use a gentle stream of air to evaporate the solvent for 5 seconds.
(5)Light cure for *0 seconds at **0±*0mW/cm2. Keep the distance to exposure surface less than 4 mm.
(6) Proceed with restorative treatment.

WARNING:
Do not use this product for patient who is allergy to methymethacrylate. Do not use this product with any material contained eugenol.  

PRECAUTIONS: 
Methmethacrylate resins may cause skin sensitization in susceptible persons. In case of contact, wash skin with soap and water. In severe situation, get medical attention. To exposed pulp, a pulp capping material such as Calcium hydroxide may be used before using this product. This product contains acetone which is flammable. Avoid flam.

STORAGE:
Store at *5ºC or less in a cool and dry place and avoid direct sun exposure. Recap the bottle after use.
