Coffee production in El Salvador has fuelled the Salvadoran economy and shaped its history for more than a century.  Since the *9th century, coffee in El Salvador has traditionally provided more than *0% of the country's export revenues.
The rich volcanic soil produces a delightful coffee with rich nutty flavours and chocolate undertones.
The Shekinah estate is on the flanks of the De Izalco volcano in the Ahuachapan region, one of Central America’s prime areas for top quality speciality coffees. This coffee is semi sweet and lightly floral, but develops chocolaty flavours with fuller roast.
