The UP series Paina type double jaw grab is of ideal grab for
loose material of low size with its modern type, reasonable
structure.Â
The ratio between the weight of grabbed material and its dead
weight can be 1.5~1.*2 Â with filling degress of *5% ~ **0%.
The UP series Paina type double jaw grab has the following
characteristics when compare to the traditional four rope grab:
- 1. the upper carrying beam was shorten with more strength and
light dead weight;
- 2. the material of bush for main joint is of bearing steel,
which can prolong the working hour to 3~4 times;
- 3. the overlaying welding was applied on the lip plate to
strength the anti- shock stress and anti-collision;
- 4. multi-layer seal process was used on the pulley to be
water-tight that can work under water;
- 5. the gap between lip plate is very small to be 0.3~1mm that
can keep clean of the working site, what's more, the overall
structure can not be out of shape.
- 6. such grab can be designed into double rope type according to
real requirements.
The four rope grab bucket can be divided into 4 types as light,
middle, heavy and superheavy according to material use to be
grab. Main technical specification of these 4 types grab as
below:
- For light grab
 - the volume for light grab can be 4.5, 5.8, 7.5, 9.5,
*2.0, *5.0, *7.2, *3.0, *7.5, *4.0, *3.5, *5.0 and so on;Â
 - the material gravity can be ranged from 0.*3~1.0t /

 - the weight of material can be grab range from
2.8~*7.8t;
 - pulley ratio is 4;
 - rope number for open-and-close is 2;
 - rope number for supporting is 2;

- For middle grab
 - the volume for middle grab can be 2.5, 3.2, 4.1, 5.2,
6.5, 8.3, 9.5, *2.5, *5.0, *9.5, *4.5, *1.0 and so on;Â
 - the material gravity can be ranged from 1.*5~1.6t /
cubic meter;
 - the weight of material can be grab range from
3.1~*9.3t;
 - pulley ratio is 4;

- For heavy grab
 - the volume for heavy grab can be 1.6, 2.2, 2.6, 3.3,
4.2, 5.5, 6.5, 8.3, *0.0, *2.6, *6, *0.5 and so on;Â
 - the material gravity can be ranged from 2.0~2.5t /
cubic meter;
 - the weight of material can be grab range from
3.2~*1.2t;
 - pulley ratio is 4 or 5;
 - rope number for open-and-close is 2;
 - rope number for supporting is 2;

real requirements;
- For superheavy grab
 - the volume for superheavy grab can be 1.0~*2.5 cubic
