Brief

Our plungers are made from cold-drawn, seamless-steel tubing, which is machined to size and chrome plated or spray-metal coated. All plungers are manufactured in strict compliance to meet or exceed current API *1AX specifications.They have the advantages of anti-corrosion, high resistance to wear and tear, reliability, durability and high pumping efficiency.

Certification

Our Sub Surface Sucker Rod pumps were granted the API SPEC *1AX License early in ***2. Our Sub Surface Sucker Rod pump and related parts are authorized to use the API Monogram.

Specification

1. Chrome-Plated Plungers

Manufactured from carbon-steel tubing with 0.****0.**5mm thickness of hard- chrome plating (*7 to *1 HRC), these chrome-plated plungers are made in pin end and box end.

Chrome-plated plungers should not be used in chrome-plated barrels.

2. Spray-Metal Plungers

Manufactured from steel tubing, these plungers have an OD that is thermo-spray coated with metal alloy consisting 

of chromium borides, chromium carbides and complex cross-combinations of each suspended in a nickel matrix.

The plungers corrosive- and abrasive- resistant surface has a hardness of *6 to *1 HRC. The low coefficient of friction of the spray-metal surface makes it possible to run these plungers in barrels of almost 

any material. Minimum thickness of the finish spray is 0.**0 in per side, according to API *1AX specification.
