Jet Flow Agitator

The Permix jet flow agitator is an ideal combination of macro and micro mixing functions.

A deflector tube is fixed around the rotor; both powder and liquid from the top of the tube will first be drawn into the rotor when it is rotating quickly, get mixed and sheared in the tube, and finally be pushed out through it from the bottom into the vessel. This generates a great circulation (macro mixing) in the vessel, and dead zone will be avoided. Meanwhile, because of the deflector tube, all the energy of the shaft is limited within it; therefore the powder and liquid are subject to very intensive force in the tube, leading to good micro mixing.

The advantages of a jet mixer can be so apparent that you may think it is just the time to replace the conventional stirrers by it right now!

Advantages of a Jet Mixer:

- Flexible installation

You can either install a jet flow mixer on top of the vessel with a flange or a lifting stand, or at side of a narrow and deep vessel, or at bottom of a vessel with limited space on top and at side. Permix offers corresponding series for different installation requirements.

- A lot of energy saving

Thanks to the special design of the deflector, the energy of the shaft won't be distributed into the whole vessel, but only limited within the tube. Thus the rotor mixes only a small part of the liquid all the time.

- Low air induction

Compared with conventional stirrer which generates great vortex, a jet flow agitator inducts far less air into the liquid body which avoids the annoying foaming in the vessel.

- Increase the production capacity

With same capacity of liquid, a jet flow mixer can reduce the processing time remarkably, hence increase the production capacity by times everyday.

- Improve the work safety

The rotor is untouchable but located in the stator tube. No cutting blade is exposed any more.
