Lens is transparent component used for the refraction of light. It always consist of one or more pieces of optical glass with spherical surfaces that they serve to converge or diverge the transmitted rays from an object, thus forming a real or virtual image of that object. Lens have many applications ranging from the simple collection of the scanning of laser beams to precise imaging and image transferring. Lenses are classified as singlet and achromatic lenses according to the different applications.

â–  Type: Plano-Convex Lens, Plano-Concave Lens, Double-Convex Lens, Double-Concave Lens, Meniscus Lens and Achromatic Lens.
