LHE***1 split-type Measurement While Drilling consists of downhole assembly and carrier. After the downhole assembly gets down the bottom of well and sits in the tray, it will perform survey according to the scheduled time-lapse and interval and save the results. When it is necessary to read the data, start the pump and send the carrier down to the downhole assembly. The above two parts communicate with each other by electromagnetic wave in the drill collar, and preserve the measured data into the carrier. After the pump stops, the carriers will buoy up to the wellhead depending on its own buoyancy, then, the data can be read and processed via the upper monitor.
