Storm valve is used in the near sea work. when the storm is coming or the land equipment( eg:anti-blow out equipment)requires matainece. the storm valve can be used for temperately close well.

MRO storm valve is connected on top of the packer. the packer seal the anulus part of the oil tube and the case. Storm valve close the tube.  Storm valve and packer works together to ensure that the oil well and anulus part all are well sealed.



The structure

the operation is made by  lift and rotary to realize release and re-attach.

big section , and more sealing roll structure design ensures well sealling.

elastic claw and ani-over torque ring design structure makes release and re-attach more easier.



Operation:

when tripping in, the MRO storm valve was in open condition.

when we need release, turn the pipe severla rolls and lift, it can close well and release..

when we need re-attach, low down the connecting part to the storm valve position, turn right several times and it will connect well
