1. Introduction
 KPAM for Drill Fluid is copolymers of acryl amide and acrylic, with molecular weight 3 million, used as viscosities and borehole stabilizer in drill fluid. It can improve the rheology of fluid, wrap drilling cuttings effectively and inhibit mud making of formation. The existence of potassium ions can prevent the hydration and spalling of soft shale and hard brittle shale, having good functions of stabilizing the borehole and fluid loss.It has good compatibility with other additives, used in nondispersed drill fluid and dispersed drill fluid.With a stable mud property and a good flow pattern, it is applicable to vertical well, horizontal well and bore.
