With a flash of light and crackle from the pipe, the Lightning STR knows no bounds! Mounted on the Lightning STRs lightweight aluminum chassis is a Vertex VX**6 nitro engine with a lightweight heat sink, aluminum fin cooled exhaust manifold and tuned pipe.

A shaft driven 4WD drivetrain, coupled with a high-performance *-speed transmission, allows crazy 1st gear acceleration, while still providing blistering 2nd gear top speeds. Easily adjust the shift point, with the turn of a screw. Composite disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power and a 2.4GHz radio system ensure control.

Aluminum capped oil filled shocks and adjustable independent suspension, similar to that found on race cars, provide tunable dampening that realistic on-road race tires need to achieve race winning traction. Drive the Lightning STR and feel the thunder!
