M.O.A :

In psoriasis, immune cells (T-helper cells) move from dermis to epidermis, where they stimulate skin cells (keratinocytes) to proliferate.
i.e. T cells -> epidermis  secret inflammatory mediators INF-α, interleukins  -> inflammatory

interleukins**2 -> proliferation.
Management

*-Topical agent

moisturizers ,mineral oils, coal tar ,corticosteroid ,vitamin D3 analogue (calcipotriol)

*- Phototherapy :

Side effects : Nausea, vomiting, fatigue.
