A variable speed dissolver with scraper to disperse, mix and homogenize products of different rheologies. Construction The cylindrical machine column and the machine top consist of a welded steel construction. The sturdy, ribbed construction provides a vibration-free and silent running of the dissolver. The machine top is mounted on a hydraulic cylinder installed in the machine column. The machine head in which the motor, the belt drive and the mixing shaft bearing house are installed, is turnable around the central column of the machine and can be supplied with two, three or four fixed positions on demand. The lifting and lowering of the machine top is effected electro-hydraulically by means of a hydraulic drive unit placed separately near the machine. For the electronic speed adjustment the dissolver is equipped with a frequency inverter thus the stirring shaft is infinitely adjustable during operation. A safety switch is placed in the column in order to stop the machine when lifting the turbine out of the container. The number of small v-belts is used to transfer the power from the motor to the mixing shaft. The container lid is slightly vaulted to provide better stability and is fixed elastically at the lid guide arranged at the shaft bearing house in a telescopic way. Two pneumatic cylinders open and close the lid by means of compressed air. The mixer spindle and the mixer appliances are sturdy and of stainless steel. The toothed discs are fixed at the spindle by a flange and a cap nut, and are easily changeable. A rotating wall scraper driven by a gear motor mounted in the lid and integrated in the machine column so that a height adjustability of the toothed disc is possible during the dispersion process. The scraper sword is easily detachable with a scraper lip of polyamide. Kdh ******************0
