Application:
1、Applied superconductivity:

3、Steel application:
Niobium as the micro-alloying elements does not change the structure of iron when it is added into the steel,but with the combination of carbon, nitrogen and sulfur, changing the steel microstructure. The strengthen role of the Niobium in steel is mainly fine-grained and dispersion strengthening, Niobium can form stable carbides and carbonitrides with the carbonitride in the steel, it also can dispersed the carbides and form a fine grain oriented steel.
