We are an agricultural biotechnology, research and development entity developing and producing seeds of hope to produce renewable biodiesel feed stocks that can enable the large-scale replacement of petroleum and other fossil fuels. We use a combination of advanced plant breeding and biotechnology to develop new crops, known as dedicated energy crops, that we believe address the limitations of first-generation biodiesel feed stocks, such as corn and sugarcane, increase seeds and oil productivity, reduce crop inputs and improve cultivation on marginal land.

As a producer of proprietary seeds, we believe we are in the most attractive segment of the biodiesel value chain — upstream from the capital intensive refining and conversion of biodiesel.

CJPs distinguished and some of the most experienced crop scientists in the world are now focused on researching and developing Jatropha curcas, Castor bean, Simarouba, Moringa, Algae, Jojoba and other crops. The plants biology and genetics profile have been subjected to intense scrutiny as molecular & genetic scientists collaborate with agronomists to breed & develop cultivars suitable for large scale fuel farming. Traditional breeding, inter-species hybridization, genetic modification, and advanced cloning techniques are all being applied to produce new commercial cultivars. CJP not only driving the science & development of commercial biodiesel crop cultivars but also developing enabling technologies with application to a wider range of horticultural species. Our Biodiesel Crops

CJPs new Nonfood Biodiesel crops like algae, castor, moringa, pongamia, jojoba, simarouba which are poised for commercialization as the newest, greatest biodiesel feedstock as these crops can produce the greatest amount of feedstock for the lowest input and cost. Good scientific research done by CJPs scientists has shown that how oilseed crops grow best across different soil conditions and climates, and how they fit into existing production systems determining what consequences might result from growing these crops in terms of sustainability.
