The new Optical Network Unit (ONU) is a triple play ONU which can deliver high-speed Internet data, excellent-quality voice over IP (IP Phone) and full-spectrum CATV in Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) access networks. The ONU has integrated new functionalities and features that include L3 routing, WiFi data link with computer termination , optional optical interface, flexible fiber cable tray and backup battery for power interruption etc.
