Properties
Potassium tripolyphopshate occurs as white crystals or powder. It melts at **0 -*4℃and has got a relative density as 2.*4. It is freely water soluble, and it aqueous solution is alkaline. In water it is gradually hydrolized into orthophosphates.Potassium tripolyphopshate has got outstanding capacity of chelating metal ions to form soluble chelates, and therefore is a very good chelating agent.
Applications
Emulsifier for oils; Buffer agent for liquid detergents; Soil conditioner, as a highly effective PK fertilizer. In foodstuff industry it is used as/to texturiser, sequestrant, dispersant，water retainer, Water treatment.
