The Gel-filled layer allows for protection around water and moisture, whether developed by humid weather or climate changes this cable is ideal for dry copper applications.  Our CAT 5E CMR/CMX Gel-filled Outdoor cable is resistant to cracking after long-term UV exposure, making it the ideal solution for installation runs that require the cable to be exposed to the elements.
